Golf Nearby Aigas 9 hole golf course has a wonderful setting, and being so close you could pop down for 9 holes after breakfast and still have the whole afternoon for other activities in the area. Visitors are welcome, but booking is advisable on weekends. Walking For those keen to walk and enjoy the stunning countryside, the area is full of walks for all abilities, in a radius of 25Km, you`ll find Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Rogie falls, Glen Affric, and Strathfarrar . Alternatively we have the Aigas community forest walk which starts from Moalnaceap and winds through our local forest returning back at the cottage ideal to catch our local wildlife. For other information on local areas of interest our nearest village Beauly has a tourist information office.Beauly is 3.5km from Moalnaceap has excellent shopping with, gift, craft and coffee shops. Also a large supermarket and petrol station. Pubs / Restaurants Beauly and the surrounding area is host to a good number of pubs and restaurants serving a range of food to meet a range of budgets. We recommend you visit the Lovat Arms in Beauly for great food,beer and a wide range of whiskey, we would be interested to hear your recommendations to add to this page. Canoeing The Beauly River is a wonderful place to canoe, whether you are experienced or trying it for the first time.
